The Cambio Starfish Chromosome Painting System has been developed in collaboration with a leading cytogenetics laboratory in the University of Cambridge, UK. The products come with a guarantee of quality, and are backed with the full technical support of the Cambridge University molecular cytogenetics laboratory.

The chromosome paints are uniquely prepared from PCR amplified DNA obtained from FACS-sorted chromosomes.

The Starfish range includes: Mouse Whole Chromosome-specific probes, Human and mouse Centromeric probes, Bovine, Rat and Pig probes, Detection kits, labeled and second ard antibodies and ancilliary products.

Also human chromosome-specific "p" and "q" are probes are available.
